Meet Sophy Henn's superhero Pizazz - and find out why being a hero isn't all it's cracked up to be

Bad Nana author Sophy Henn has just written a brand new book all about superhero Pizazz - who wants you to know that being a hero isn't all it's cracked up to be! We spent some time getting to know Pizazz...

What are the top three things readers should know about being super?

1. It's not easy.
2. It's not as great or even as fun as you think it is.
3. The costumes are rubbish. Well mine is. Specifically my cape.

We've heard so much about your little sister, Red Dragon, she sounds like the coolest super! What's it like to have such an amazing sister?
*eyeroll* Erm... I think you might have got that a bit wrong. As the older and clearly far cooler super sister in my family, you should probably ask her that question.

Who has the coolest super powers in your family?
We can all fly, except for Red Dragon, hahaha. BUT she has got super speed which is good, but obviously not as good as flying...I mean FLYING!!!! It is actually awesome.

On top of that we all have our own special superpowers...mine is BEYOND embarrassing so that's definitely not the coolest, my Dad's is being able to melt into liquid metal and reform into different shapes, my Mum's is laser eyes and hands (obviously not feet, think of all the shoes she'd get through) and Red Dragon's is breathing fire... so I think I would say Dad. It would be good to be able to melt into different shapes then I could melt into a chair or table the next time Mum was looking for me to do my homework!

When you are not being SUPER what do you get up to?
School! I KNOW! How unfair is that? When I am not defeating super baddies and saving the world, I have to go to school.

On the extremely rare occasion I do get five seconds to myself I like to hang out with my friends Susie and Tom, but I will be seeing them loads less now because my annoying parents are making us move to a new town to be nearer my Grandma and Gramps *eyeroll*. So I guess soon all I will have to do is go to school and save the world.

Oh and paint my nails, I do like painting my nails, my current favourite shade is Midnight Puddle. It's sort of black.

Do you have any pets?
I definitely do and I sort of do too.

I have a Guinea Pig called Bernard, who is definitely a pet. Possibly the most perfect pet ever because she (yes, SHE) is brilliant and a really good listener. Oh, and we both love prawn cocktail crisps and not really doing much.

I also have a dog that's a pet crossed with a bossy boots and her name is Wanda. She is part dog and part telephone, and she was sent to us from HQ. Basically she tells us what missions HQ want us to go on and when she's not doing that she is mainly sleeping and knocking things over that I *might* have accidentally left on the floor.

She doesn't do any pet type tricks except fetch, which is fine unless the thing she is fetching is one of DaBomb's evil itching powder bombs which your dad has thrown into outer space and then Wanda has fetched back just in time to cover everyone in SUPER scratchy itching power. So she's all round annoying really. *eyeroll*

What's your favourite book?

I don't think I have one favourite, I have lots. I like a mixture of fact books and fiction books. At the moment I am reading Roller Girl by Victoria Jamieson, it's really good AND there's roller skating!

Flying or super strength? Flying. FLYING!!!!
Cats or dogs? Cats (sorry Wanda) (not really!)
Goodies or baddies? Goodies but baddies have the best outfits.
Crisps or chocolate? Crisps. Specifically Prawn Cocktail.
