Our corporate partners help us deliver our mission to bring the life-changing benefits of reading to every child.

There are so many ways to support BookTrust at work, from taking on a challenge event to running an online cause marketing campaign.

Every penny raised goes towards our vital work with families across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, such as:

  • Bookstart Baby - our universal book gifting scheme that provides 90% of babies born with a newborn book pack to start their family reading journey
  • Bookstart Early Years and Storytime – our programmes for families with toddlers and pre-schoolers in areas of deprivation. These programmes are delivered in community settings and libraries to give families access to books alongside reading support to build their confidence and enjoyment in reading together
  • Letterbox Club and Story Explorers – book pack subscriptions for children in foster or kinship care. These arrive in the post and give each child something to call their own, as well as helping with bonding between children and carers
  • BookTrust Represents – our schools and author development programme that supports debut authors of colour to launch their careers as well as providing author visits to schools that show every child they can dream of being an author or illustrator

Employee engagement

  • Nominate us as your Charity of  the Year – we can support your application
  • Fundraise at work for our Christmas appeal with a jumper day or mince pie sale
  • Take on a challenge as a team – you can plan your own event, such as a walk or cycle ride, or enter an official challenge such as a 10k or fun run
  • Hold a quiz, bake sale or other social – see our A-Z of fundraising ideas
  • Support us monthly through payroll giving

  • Donate a proportion of sales of a product to BookTrust or set up a prize draw to raise funds and generate awareness of our cause and your company

  • We have opportunities throughout the year to promote your brand to schools, companies and our supporters
  • You could support our Great Books Guide, provide a prize for Pyjamarama or sponsor part of a BookTrust event or conference
