Our partners

We are incredibly grateful to all of our supporters. Their generous commitment of time and money help us ensure that nobody misses out on the life-changing benefits that reading can bring.

How our partners have helped

Waterstones logoWaterstones has supported BookTrust as its chosen charity for over five years. During this time, employees and customers of Waterstones have helped raise over £900,000 for BookTrust. Since the partnership began in 2013 Waterstones shops and booksellers have been involved in a number of initiatives from organising fancy dress competitions to author events and story time sessions; selling a range of charity Christmas cards and donating the carrier bag charge to BookTrust. The partnership demonstrates a shared mission to get children and families reading for pleasure and has helped fund programmes such as Bookstart which reaches all families in England and Wales and the Letterbox Club for children in care and helping to ensure that all children, including those who need us the most, have access to books and to reading.

Online retailer Cyberjammies teamed up with BookTrust for our first mass participation fundraising campaign, Pyjamarama.

On 7 June 2019, we rallied the nation, encouraging people to put on their PJs and donate to BookTrust to ensure that no child misses out on a bedtime story.

Cyberjammies offer seriously comfortable pyjamas, the cotton-based collection is super for snuggling up and sharing stories together. As well as offering competition prizes, Cyberjammies supported the campaign by donating £1 for every pair of PJs sold during Pyjamarama too. Having the backing of such a brilliant brand gave us a much-needed boost to ensure we can continue our work to reach families who so desperately need our support.
