Packed full of laugh-out-loud moments, brilliant illustrations and featuring a wiggly worm on nearly every page, we think you'll love our new Time to Read book.

From September 2019, schools across England will receive copies of The Cave by Rob Hodgson in a special Time to Read pack for each of their Reception pupils.

That's 700,000 copies!

Through our Time to Read programme, we want to make sure that every Reception pupil in England has their own book to treasure and share with their family at home.

We hope your child will love The Cave, a fantastic story about a sneaky wolf and a mysterious cave-dwelling creature. This picture book shows us that things aren't always what they seem, and life can be full of surprises!
