Meet Amelia Fang: the perfect Halloween heroine

Published on: 24 October 2017 Author: Catriona Wightman

Just in time for Halloween, there's a brand new heroine for you to meet - say hello to Amelia Fang!

Amelia Fang

Amelia is the latest creation from Witch Wars illustrator Laura Ellen Anderson, and she's described as "a modern Wednesday Addams - but much more loveable", which sounds pretty perfect to us.

She's currently starring in Laura's book Amelia Fang and the Barbaric Ball, which follows her race to save her pet pumpkin Squashy from the King's spoiled son Tangine.

Along with her friends Florence the yeti and Grimaldi the reaper, Amelia is about to make some surprising discoveries in the world of Nocturnia...

And what's even better is that Amelia Fang and the Barbaric Ball is the first in a series - so we can expect lots more adventures from her in the future.

For now, though, take a look at some of Laura's brilliant illustrations below and start planning your Amelia Fang Halloween costume now...
