The most read Read for My School books of 2016: 1-5

Last week we featured numbers 6-10 in the most read Read for My School books list.

Just in case you didn't know, Read for My School is a competition for children in school Years 3-8 in the UK. Registered pupils can win prizes by simply reading books - the more you read the bigger the prize.

Below are the most read books from this year's competition so far:

So, after you've read this book try and find out what pet shop sells these magical pets and get down their straight away.

 

4. The BFG

There was always going to be a Roald Dahl book featured in the top 10 most read Read for My School books, and it's in the form of the gigantic Big Friendly Giant.

The book has also been made into a live action film that will be released later this year. Quick - read the book before the film comes out.
