Time to Read

Research shows that a child who reads for fun will do better in all subjects, even maths. Let us help you encourage reading for pleasure at your school with our Time to Read programme.

Free book for every Reception child in England

This year, every Reception pupil in England will get a the funny and colourful The Bumblebear by Nadia Shireen (Random House) to enjoy and share at home. These will be delivered via primary schools.

  • Get more packs for schools:

From this autumn, primary schools who don't receive enough packs for all their Reception students can order more from us directly. The extra packs should be delivered within two weeks of placing an order.

  • Order packs for home educators

Home educators can order packs by filling out an online order form for 4-5 year olds who would be in Reception, were they attending school.
