The Missing Bookshop: A charming tale about the power of stories
Published on: 07 June 2019 Author: Catriona Wightman
Can you imagine how you'd feel if your favourite bookshop disappeared?
The Missing Bookshop is a lovely new story, but it also addresses one of our big fears: what happens when your favourite bookshop disappears?
The story - from Katie Clapham and illustrator Kirsti Beautyman - introduces us to Milly, who loves going to storytime at her local bookshop.
Mrs Minty is brilliant at telling stories, whether it's a daring adventure or tales of mischievous children getting into scrapes.
But one day, the shop isn't there any more. What has happened to Mrs Minty? And what about the bookshop?
We've got a sneak peek inside the pages of The Missing Bookshop, which is a wonderful title to share with little ones and a fabulous reminder about the power of stories.
