Bookbuzz Design a Book Cover 2018 Winner and Runners Up

There were over 600 submissions from around 40 schools in this year's Design a Book Cover competition as part of Bookbuzz, our reading programme for secondary schools.
We have now chosen our winner!
The winning entry is by Sienna from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, who designed a book cover for Murder in Midwinter, by Fleur Hitchcock.
Our first runner-up is Macie from Markethill High School, who designed a book cover for S.C.R.E.A.M. The Mummy's Revenge, by Andrew Beasley.
Our second runner-up is Caitlin from Wigan Virtual School, who designed a book cover for Ocean Animals, by Johnna Rizzo.

Encourage reading for pleasure
Bookbuzz supports schools to encourage reading for pleasure. Participating schools give their students the opportunity to choose their own book to keep from a list of 17 titles suitable for children in Year 7 or 8 and selected by a panel of experts.
