Trickster
Publisher: Oxford University Press
Gabble and Ash are young rats. To earn their names, they must go out into the world and bring back food for their clan.
Ash wants to explore beyond the clan's grounds. Gabble's instinct is to be cautious, but he knows he needs to protect his brother. The brothers set out on an adventure, which in some ways will bring them closer together - and in other ways push them apart. Neither brother will return unchanged.
We are introduced to an intricate and unusual world of rat by Tom Moorhouse. He shows us the hierarchies that exist in the rat community and the rivalries that exist between gangs. The reader learns of the dangers that rats face when they venture beyond their burrow. The world of the rats is carefully created and delicately described.

This book is so boring a minute will feel like an hour, an hour will feel like a day, and a the full book feels like eternity. This book is for satan, so boring it'll remind you of hell. Instead of a life sentence in jail or a death penalty, reading this book would be a much better option for slow, cruel torture.
