The day-to-day business of BookTrust is overseen by the Senior Leadership Team. Heading up the Senior Leadership Team is the Chief Executive Officer, who is accountable to the Chair and the Board of Trustees.

Our Patron
The Queen of the United Kingdom is BookTrust's Patron. Her Royal Highness took the reins from HRH The Duke of Edinburgh in 2011, who stood down after many years in the role.
Our President
Michael Morpurgo is the award-winning author of over 120 books for children, including War Horse, which has been adapted into a phenomenally successful stage show and film.
