The Snow Beast

Publisher: Andersen Press

Somebody has been stealing the friendly snow beast's tools, just when he's about to help the local village put on a snow festival. So, he goes to investigate, and discovers that the tools have been taken by an Abominable Snow Beast. However, this snow beast turns out to be not that abominable at all, and has in fact just borrowed the tools to fix his mobile home, (an iceberg).

This is a quirky story about welcoming outsiders, and learning more about the people you thought were different from you. However, it's also fun and engaging picture book with a slightly comic-book style layout that slightly older primary kids will love.
