Panda and Penguin love their old sofa. But when the springs poke through and the cover is full of holes and tears they realise it is time to go shopping.

They look at all sorts of sofas in their quest to find the perfect one. But there are so many to choose from and they are either too big, too small, too hard, too squishy and even too colourful! The choices are too much – will they ever find their perfect sofa?

Fifi Kuo’s illustrations bring such warmth and humour to the story of learning to appreciate and love what we already have in our lives. The different textures and mix of drawing materials really bring out the unique characters of the sofas. All readers will be entertained by Penguin’s sometimes bemused reactions to Panda trying the different sofas and with such effortless text, it’s a great book to read aloud.
