SuperQuesters: The Case of the Stolen Sun

Publisher: QuestFriendz

A puzzle book and storybook combined into one! Lilli, Leo and Bea are trying to figure out why hot air balloons fly. Wishing hard for a clue, they find themselves in Questland, an enchanted world where they will find the answer they seek – if they can first help the Queen of Questland get the sun back, which has been stolen by Lord Grumble and his Snapettes. Can they track him down and return daytime to Questland?

Following the Queen’s map, the friends must complete a series of tasks, solving the puzzles to get around the obstacles on the path to Lord Grumble’s castle. Using the stickers at the back of the book, readers can complete the puzzles and help the friends on their journey. Different ‘stem’ type skills are needed to solve each one, like working out a pattern, making observations, and creating instructions.

This interactive story offers a different reading experience as you participate in the story by completing the games. The instructions for some of the tasks could be explained a little more clearly so some readers may need some help with those, but answers are provided at the end of the book.
