I Don't Want to Wash My Hands!

Publisher: Andersen Press

A welcome republication of this Little Princess story, which first appeared in 2001.

Like all toddlers, the Little Princess asks the inevitable question ‘why?’ every time she’s told to do something. This time she’s been playing in the garden and has got dirty, and so is told to wash her hands before eating her cake. She soon learns why she needs to wash them when she pats the dog, goes to the toilet, or sneezes, to avoid ‘germs and nasties’. But, as usual the Little Princess manages to have the last word!

Tony Ross’s sense of humour pervades each spread - the King removing the Little Princess's potty is particularly funny. Classic picture book entertainment.
