Orange Pear Apple Bear
Publisher: Macmillan Children's books
Orange, Pear, Apple, Bear; these four simple words make up this delightful picture book (until the very last page) and provide ample inspiration for its charming illustrations. Following her success with Wolves, Emily Gravett returns with this picture book for pre school children.
Her colourful yet sparse illustrations cleverly depict a bumbling bear interacting in many different and imaginative ways with the fruit mentioned in the title.
The rhyming and repetition in the text make this a great book to read aloud; the gently humorous illustrations will provoke discussion and undoubtedly appeal to parents and children alike.

Orange Pear Apple Bear, my two year old can't get rid of it! Even more, he walks around the house repeating the words. Excellent rhyme book!

My son loved this book. It helped him recognise his colours as well as fruit. When we had it out from the library it was read a few times a day. Nice and simple book.

my son loves to read this book. The illustration and easy words not only help my little one to understand the words to the pictures but are simple enough to be able to teach him to read the words :) beautiful book

I am Ian, and I just turned one. This is my favourite book ever. I read it for 20 minutes at a time and make my mummy and daddy show me it again and again.
