Unlike more traditional non-fiction  books, the facts here about invertebrates are conveyed through small verses that include metre and rhyme. The simple chorus that is revisited throughout the book is a clear invitation for children to join in with reading the text aloud. Through a series of detailed illustrations, the reader is guided from place to place in order to draw their attention to the amazing invertebrates that are in the world around us. It’s a non-fiction book that educates, entertains and opens the eyes of children to the wonder of nature.
