We receive some wonderful feedback from the children and adults. For our 15th annniversary, we're celebrating with some of our favourite hand-written postcards from children who receive Letterbox Club.
Once signed-up by their local authority or school, each child receives their own colourful parcel of books, maths games, stationery every month for six months. For many children, it's the first time they have had a letter or a parcel through the post and for some it's the first time they have had books of their own.
Registration to the Letterbox Club is now closed for 2018, but here's how you can find out more and get in touch with us.
Letterbox Club parcels can inspire a love of reading and engagement with numeracy for vulnerable children in your area. Local authorities can use Pupil Premium Plus for looked after children and Pupil Premium for other vulnerable children, to fund Letterbox Club.
As well as children who are looked-after, the programme is suitable for other children you think would benefit. Schools can enrol as few or as many children as they wish. Many schools have said that the Letterbox Club would also support vulnerable children who are on the edge of being in care.
Coordinators signed up to the Letterbox Club can find useful information and resources to help administer the programme via a special coordinators area.
New books we love
We review lots of new books every month, and here's where you can find the ones we liked best of all.
