Stories of WW1

An overall good book all the stories are intresting and also frightening

I had to finish this book as every story ended with a cliff-hanger. It gave the reader the sense of what it was like for soldiers and people at homeduring the great war, but be warned some of the war scenes are really brutal. It is an impressive book, absolutely spectacular and of all the books on WW1 that I have read, this has to be the best.

I found this book amazing because I learnt about lots about the world wars. I have experienced lots of learning due to this book.

All of the stories were interesting and exciting I would love it if you could make stories of ww2 :)

I thought parts of the book were good because it is a selection of a few stories and some of the stories were good but in general it was a good book and it was very interesting to read and learn about the different stories. It as also good to hear about what different people had to say about there encounters. In total it was a very interesting book.

I think it is a rilly good book because you lern lots from it. also you can find out what it was like in them days. also if you like guns and war it wood be a grat book for you.

Its a brilliant book.i really enjoyed it i prefer shorter stories in a book like a horrid henry book it has more than one adventure.its quite an emotioonal story. ITS still hard to beileve that so many people fought for us and peace.

This book is amazing. I love all of the short stories and I prefer lots of shorter stories than one big one. With some books it can be really hard to get hooked but with all of these stories you only needed two or three pages. My favourite one of the stories is Malorie Blackman's 'Broken Promise' as it is a very heart warming story about two half brothers that don't get on but do care about each other. My second favourite is 'The man in the red trousers' as it is very easy to relate to.

This book was really good. It is more than one story in one book. I like it when this happens. I like how the book is set in the beginning at the outbreak of war because you can actually imagine what it looks like in your head because of how well described it is. All of the authors that have written stories in this book are great, especially Malorie Blackman. I have read a lot of books, but this is one of my favourites. This book was brilliant! It really gives you a feel of the first world war and how it affected people, not just in our country but all around the world. This book describes what is going on so well that you can just see everything happening in your head, the gas attacks, the bullets, the bombs, everything! Stories of ww1 is a great book it is edited by Tony Bradman I haven't got board of it yet! I find war stories fun to read but I don't have many so I have been reading alot more

I like stories that are set into the world wars. It is quite good like that. The story can be confusing to people but it can be quite sad to other people. The characters are perfect for the story. But the only bad thing is in a lot of world war stories their is always a little kid looking after their brother or sister.

This book looks like it can reel some very detailed stories from the past. Tony Bradman has certainly done a brilliant job. I can't wait to read what awaits!
