Stonebird

Liam has moved to a new town to be closer to his grandma who is ill with dementia. His dad has left, his mum is falling apart and his sister is going off the rails and, at 11 years old, Liam simply doesn't know where to turn or what to do to make things better.

Then, on the day after he finds his grandma's diary, Liam discovers a huge stone gargoyle in a ruined church and imagination and reality seem to merge as he could swear that the creature is not only alive but may be able to help him.
