Despite being about a witch and featuring lots of 'scary' characters, my 2-year-old, who is scared of lots of things, loves this book. The bright colours are great.

The book is mainly red, black, white and yellow. The pictures are simple. It didn't appeal to me but it did appeal to Noah and that's who it is for. The story has a lot of sounds like the owl hooting, the cat meowing, the friends names end in "ess". My son liked joining in with the sounds and tried to tell me the story. There is something to this book that is perfect for his age and level of development. I really enjoy seeing him learn.

I loved this book when I was in infant school therefore wanted to share it with my 7 1/2 month old baby boy. He enjoyed the pictures and the expression in my voice as I was reading it to him. I also liked the fact it is a board book so there is no chance of him tearing the pages. An easy read and will enjoy reading it to him over and over again.

My daughters love meg & mog & I even love them from when I was younger

This book captivated my little one, who loved to stir the cauldron and chant the frog in a bag, bat in a hat spell, opening the cupboard to find the items, treading on Mog's tail and, most importantly, the big boom page is my daughter's favourite. She wants to bang her hands on the page and gets highly animated. This is another book she has memorised and can read verbatim to anyone. It shows how much she loves it. Easy to read, great pictures and beautiful to share between parent and child...
