Little Red Train's Race to the Finish

(1 reviews with an average rating of 3 out of 5)

Publisher: Random House

A comparative newcomer to the well-loved genre of train stories for young readers, the Little Red Train, like his predecessors, introduces his audience to many of the predicaments they may themselves face.

In his latest adventure, Swish Trains have challenged him to a race, and whoever wins will gain the franchise on the seaside line. It isn't a fair race, with the Swish train drivers trying to slow the Little Red Train down, but like the story of the Tortoise and the Hare, being slow doesn't necessarily mean you lose the race.

Incredibly detailed and action-packed illustrations support the text, and will encourage young readers to interrogate pictures as well as words to enjoy these books to the full.
