Lion vs Rabbit

Publisher: Picture Corgi

Lion is a bully, and is mean to all the other animals. They decide that enough is enough, but they are all too frightened to confront him. Eventually they decide to advertise for help, but even a bear, a moose and a tiger can't put a stop to Lion's bad behaviour. But then Rabbit comes to the rescue. Although he is small and Lion is big, Rabbit has a few tricks up his sleeve to teach Lion his lesson.

Alex Latimer puts a new spin on the old fable of a small animal who outwits a big one in this very funny picture book with a strong message about putting bullies in their place. Young readers will especially enjoy the twist in this witty and entertaining tale - and Latimer's stylish, quirky illustrations hide some clues that might help those with sharp eyes to guess what the secret of Rabbit's prowess might be.
