It’s Not Fine to Sit on a Porcupine
Publisher: Troika Books
Once the earth has been saved from destruction by evil villains (multiple times), what does a superhero do with his time? Why is there a padlock on the fridge? Is there really an alien living at number 42? Where is the world's worst toilet?
The answers to these and other perplexing questions are explored in this collection of humorous poems for young readers. With witty black-and-white illustrations, the verses can be read aloud but will really come to life if performed for an audience, will have special appeal for use in schools (Key Stage 2) or other group settings.
Material for the poems is drawn principally from school and family situations but covers a wide range of subjects and could provide inspiration and encouragement for youngsters to pen their own verse.
