This is the second in the Criw’r Coed series. This time, the oldest animals in the world are back to solve the mystery of the lost hedgehogs. When Dyfrig the hedgehog visits the crew to ask for help to find his friends the crew know exactly what to do. Each one calls on their unique powers to encourage the children of Wales to build a ‘spiky highway’ across Wales, meaning that hedgehogs will be able to travel from place to place safely once more. The intention of the series is to make children understand that they can make a difference by helping animals in their own square mile.

This is a subject that will stimulate interest across the curriculum but especially in the areas of:

Languages, Literacy and Communication, Health and Well-being, Expressive Arts, Humanities, Science and Technology.
