You're A Star Lolo

A collection of four short stories starring Lolo, the smart, energetic little girl who enjoys life in sunny South Africa with her Mama and Granny Gogo.

Like many children her age, Lolo has an enquiring mind and a kind heart and in these stories she does a school gardening project and has to choose between tomatoes and snails and goes on a lovely seaside holiday with Gogo but has a problem getting home again. She also gets woken up by some strange and scary sounds in the night and has to recruit Mama to help her track down their source’ And makes some very special soup - but can anyone guess the unusual special ingredient?

All Lolo’s experiences are based on familiar, everyday events with which young readers can empathise but with some added interesting differences. The emphasis is on fun, family and a child’s growing curiosity and independence.
