Y Llwynog Tân Olaf

Mae'r berthynas rhwng plentyn ac anifail yn aml yn cynnig cysur a chysylltiad emosiynol sydd yn unigryw. Grym y berthynas hon mae Lee Newbery wedi ei adnabod a thynnu sylw ato yn ei lyfr Y Llwynog Tân Olaf.

The relationship between child and animal often offers comfort and a unique emotional connection. Such is the power of the relationship that Lee Newbery has recognised and highlighted in his book Y Llwynog Tân Olaf.

This successful adaptation by Sian Northey introduces us to the unique relationship developing between Charlie Challinor and the last fire fox – Cadno. At the beginning of the novel, due to bullies and changes happening at home, Charlie is a very diffident boy but the challenge of having to defend Cadno brings Charlie's bravery to the surface and offers him the confidence to believe in himself.

A subject that will stimulate work across the curriculum but especially in the areas of: Health and Well-being, Languages, Literacy and Communication and Expressive Arts.
