Dau Mewn Cae

Publisher: Gomer

Dyma hanes dau frawd sydd wrth eu boddau'n chwarae rygbi a sydd eisiau chwarae dros Gymru rhyw ddydd. Maen nhw'n dychmygu eu bod yn chwarae i dorf o filoedd yn Stadiwm y Mileniwm. Ond mewn gwirionedd chwarae mewn cae yng nghefn gwlaen maen nhw, gydag adar ac anifeiliaid yn unig yn eu gwylio. Mae'r gystadleuaeth rhwng y brodyr yn gryf â'r gêm yn un agos. Fydd un ohonyn nhw'n llwyddo i ennill cyn chwythu'r chwiban (neu cyn i Mam ddweud fod eu te'n barod)?

Dyma stori glyfar ac annwyl ar fydr ac odl. Bydd breuddwyd y bechgyn o chwarae rygbi'n broffesiynnol yn gyfarwydd i nifer fawr o ddarllenwyr ac bydd hud a phŵer dychymyg y cymeriadau yn codi calon pob oedolyn sy'n darllen y llyfr hwn.

This is the tale of two rugby-loving brothers who dream of playing for Wales one day. They imagine that they're playing in the Millennium Stadium to a crowd of thousands. But they're playing in a field in the countryside with birds and animals watching them. The competition between the brothers is fierce and it's a close game. Will one of them win before the final whistle (or before Mum calls them in for their tea)?

This rhyming story is both clever and sweet. The boys' dreams of playing professional rugby will be familiar to many readers and the characters' magical and powerful imagination will warm the cockles of many grown-ups' hearts.
