Into Goblyn Wood

Life at Ditchmoor School for the Wretched is no fun at all and Hazel hates it. Abandoned there at the age of two, she has no clue about her origins.

The only bright spot in her life is her friend, Pete, so when they are threatened with separation, they hatch a plan to escape into Goblyn Wood. But the forest is a scary place and Pete is kidnapped by shrieking monsters leaving Hazel alone.

Until she comes across strange, magical people claiming to be fairies who look remarkably like her. Although their magic is under threat, being drained away by some unknown force, they agree to help in her quest to find her friend. But if the magic runs out it may be too late.

In this exciting fantasy adventure, Hazel’s quest to rescue Pete is tied up with the fight to save Goblyn Wood and its magic. There is a great cast of sinister baddies and an intriguing backstory as Hazel discovers her origins and learns how to become the person she was meant to be.

An enjoyable, quirky and original exploration of the fairy myth in a tense race-against-time storyline.
