I’m the Tractor Driver

Publisher: Oxford

Today, you’re the tractor driver! Climb aboard the tractor, start the engine and head into the fields. It’s going to be a busy day!

A perfect, interactive book for young tractor fans, I’m The Tractor Driver follows a day in the life of a busy tractor driver as they help out the farmers with different jobs. From putting the cow’s feed into their trough to helping move a hay baler, young readers will be kept busy as they choose actions from the tractor control panel at the bottom of each page.

There’s also plenty of interactive counting, colour recognition and problem-solving activities throughout the book, such as a task putting hay bales in size order and counting all the white milk urns.

There is quite a lot of text in this book, and the illustration is also quite busy, so adults reading with children will need to ask questions and help point out the answers. However, there’s lots here to keep little ones amused, as well as new words to learn.
