About this book
Two green-fingered children are busy in the garden in this delightful interactive board book for toddlers. Each double page spread depicts a different garden activity. From sowing sunflower seeds and spotting bugs, to playing on the swings and having a game of hide and seek, there’s so much to see and enjoy in their own little green oasis.
With push and pull slider tabs throughout, allowing young readers to make the sunflower ‘grow’ or to ‘push’ the little girl on the swing, the book is brilliant for developing early fine motor skills. In addition to the simple rhyming text, the use of speech bubble questions on each spread promotes further engagement, as well as discussion prompts for adults reading with their toddler.
There are lots of details in the bold illustrations for little ones to pick out and the book positively promotes both the value of play and interacting with the nature that exists on our doorsteps.
