About David
David, originally from Barry, is a Teaching Assistant and Photographer with a love for poetry and music. Through working as a photographer on an art project across primary schools in London, he realised that he had a passion for working with children and decided to pursue a career in education. During lockdown, he decided to go back to his love of performing music by singing and making songs on video to entertain his friends. At this time, he also began to write poetry in Welsh to reconnect with the language. David is now working with children aged 4-5yrs and enjoys reading rhyming stories to his class. Outside of work, David likes cycling, jazz music, singing in the kitchen, and going on dog walks with a fluffy cockapoo named Tuli.
