All thanks to our supporters, we were able to reach more than two million children through our programmes in 2022/2023. This includes gifting festive book packs to 17,000 vulnerable children to share the magic of reading this Christmas.

Bookstart Baby
Sharing stories from the earliest moment.
Last year, over half a million Bookstart Baby packs were gifted to babies in England and Wales in their first year of life.
Toddler & Pre-schooler
Encouraging reading in the early years.
We developed the Bookstart Toddler and Pre-schooler packs to help carers see sharing stories as a fun way to spend time together.
BookTrust Storytime
Supporting more dads to get involved in Storytime.
Last year 50,000+ children across nearly 2,400 libraries took part in BookTrust Storytime activities.
Letterbox Club
Sharing the magic of stories.
Letterbox Club ensures specially chosen books, games and stationery get into the hands of thousands of children from vulnerable family backgrounds.
BookTrust Represents
Representation matters.
We know that children need to be able to see their lives reflected in stories to feel motivated, shape their attitudes towards themselves and others, and to have a desire to read.
