Dream big with these magical images from Silver

Night-time just got even more magical with a new release of Walter de la Mare's classic poem Silver.
The wonderful rhyme follows the Moon's evening routine and it's now been brought to life with some beautiful illustrations from Carolina Rabei.
This isn't the first time Carolina's updated de la Mare's work - Snow was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal and she's also provided pictures for the poems The Ride-by-Nights and Summer Evening.
And now Silver might just become your favourite new bedtime read, with the Moon re-imagined as a cat and astonishing images of night-time scenes, elves and creatures. What could be better for sending your little ones off to the land of nod?
To whet your appetite for Silver, which is published by Faber & Faber in April, scroll through our gallery below to get a sneak peek at some of the stunning pages.
