See inside Chris Riddell's brand new book Travels with my Sketchbook

Published on: 06 July 2017 Author: Catriona Wightman

Chris Riddell was a very, very busy Children's Laureate - and now he's giving us a sneak peek into his life over the last two years with his brand new book.

Travels with my Sketchbook collects many of the doodles Chris produced during his time travelling the country, along with some of his political cartoons, poems and card games.

And now Chris has treated us to a look inside this gorgeous book, as it ranges from Chris's witty take on his Laureate duties to his powerful responses to the tragic death of Jo Cox and the refugee crisis.

What's more, Chris has generously decided to donate all proceeds from Travels with my Sketchbook to BookTrust.

Take a look at the gallery below to enjoy some of Chris's marvellous illustrations.
