Can your school help?

Through our Letterbox Club, we send book parcels out during the year to children who are vulnerable or in care.

For many children, it may be the first time they have had a letter or parcel through the post. For some, these may be the first books they’ve owned.

The BookTrust Christmas appeal raises money to send them a special parcel at what can be a hard time of year. They may live in a household where there is no money to buy presents, or it may be their first festive season away from their family.

This year, your donation could help send surprise book gifts to over 12,250 vulnerable children to bring joy and brighten their Christmas.

The Letterbox Club

The Letterbox Club

The Letterbox Club aims to inspire a love of reading and engagement with numeracy in children aged 3-13 who are looked-after. They are enrolled by local authorities and schools, and receive monthly parcels of books and educational materials.
