Young Houdini: The Magician's Fire

Harry is a shoeshine boy in 19th century New York. He will grow up to be Houdini, the world famous magician. But now he is learning the tricks of his trade in the company of Billie, a penniless orphan and Arthur, a rich boy with an uncaring father.

Their good friend Herbie, a magician, seems to have been kidnapped and the three friends are determined to find and rescue him.

They use their various talents to smoke out a possible baddie. Is Herbie in the clutches of a mysterious Bulgarian, or is the villain actually someone much closer to home?

This fast paced and action-packed historical adventure is the first of a series.
