Jade is devastated when her best friend is killed by a car and wonders how she will manage without her. She is initially thrilled when Vicky’s ghost appears to her, but the 'angel' is determined to be in control and Jade gradually realises just how manipulative her friend was when she was alive.

Absolutely amazing book. I've read Jaqueline Wilson as the first proper books I was able to read. Every time I enter the school library I go straight to the J section to see the books. This was the saddest yet (apart from The Longest Wale Song) And absolutely beautiful!!!!! I loved it!!!!!

I love the story even though it's so sad most of the time but it always turns out well!

I loved how Vicky turned into a mysterious ghost and haunted her best friend, Jade. I felt so sorry for Jade though, because she always had Jade around her, and that made her feel confident. I sometimes hated the way Vicky treated Jade as second best, so she couldn't make choices for herself. I loved this book it was so heartwarming.

This book is beautiful, one of my favorite books ever, it focuses on best friends and it's upsetting by the end of the first chapter but it's so fascinating seeing how Jade gets on and how Vicky still is in the book. You'd think it's all crying but honestly, it shows friendship, love and it's overall a marvelous book.
