Tickle, Tickle
Publisher: Walker Books
A multicultural book showing babies engaged in many activities, such as playing in the mud, being in the water and brushing their hair.
Ideal for any time of the day, especially bathtime and bedtime, the language and repetition make this book good to read aloud and the strong interactive story makes it great fun. A big board book that fits well across two laps!

Admiring the hard work you put into your site and detailed information you offer. It's good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn't the same unwanted rehashed material. Wonderful read! I've bookmarked your site and I'm adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.

This book is short and sweet. I love that it has diverse children in it. You can build it up the suspense to the final tickle tickle with your child. It also lends itself to messy play, yay!

I have to pick the right moment to read this one to my little one. Sometimes he's just not in the mood to be tickled. But when he is we often get squeals of delight. It might be better to read this when he understands anticipation a bit more.

This is one of my daughter's ever favourite books. I love to admire her giggles while we both read this book together with gestures and I can't wait to see her giggling and screaming in delight together once again!!!

My little girl loves this book. Especially when mum does noises to go with it. We always get big giggles at the end when we do tickle tickle.

This is one of the first books I read to my daughter. It came in our bookstart bag. We go through the book acting out the actions and as always the tickle tickle has her screaming with delight! An excellent way to introduce reading to babies.

This was in our first Bookstart bag. Matthew is nearly two now and loves this book as much as ever. We will often recite the verses to Tickle Tickle before, during & after bathtime. Matthew often picks the book up and turns straight to the last page just so he can have a tickle and a huge giggle.

My baby received this in the bookstart baby bag from our local library and it quickly became his favourite book, as soon as we open it and he hears, "squelch, squelch, in the mud" he squeals with joy, even if he isn't looking and is on the other side of the room- he'll just bound over to me :)

We love this book! My two love making squelching noises for the mud and it is great way of discussing our bed time routine and how they play in mud and puddles. When I tickle them at the end we end up in a heap screaming with laughter. Another much-loved classic.

This was one of my baby's first boo-boo as she calls it. She watches first 3 pages carefully but she is always waiting for the last page where it says 'tickle tickle under there' and I start tickling her and she enjoys it so much. She screams with happiness.

Thomas and I first shared this book whilst cuddled up on the sofa together. Thomas was more interested in trying to eat the book to begin with but was more interested when I started pointing things out and we shared a giggle when I started tickling him!! Only thing I found was that it was over quite quick.
