The Secret of the Moonshard

Domino has grown up in the Scientarium, an inhospitable boarding school which sits atop a floating mountain, high above the magical city of Abzalaymon. She is tormented by the other children and feels imprisoned by the old Science Barons, who claim that they are working on a cure for her severe allergy to magic.

Her world is turned upside-down with the arrival of a mysterious stranger, who reveals that Domino is, in fact, a powerful Wizard. She flees to Abzalaymon, where she is thrust into a land of treacherous Wizards, scheming Scientists and prehistoric beasts.

There, Domino learns that the moon – the source of all magic – is falling and she is the only one who can stop it from being destroyed. She is also desperate to prevent a war between Wizards and Scientists, whose power struggle has raged for centuries. However, she must first learn to harness her newfound magic and decide who she can trust.
