This is a brilliant adventure story for the MG audience about making your own destiny. Filled with wonders and excitement, plus dragons! It was a fantastic mix of steampunk, science and fantasy. Absolutely loved this story, the world felt so rich and real. I fell in love with Paisley and Dax - well, all the characters really! When I got to the last page I was left craving more.

This book takes you on a heart stopping adventure. I couldn't put it down! The world building is seamless and totally immersive, and Paisley is the sort of hero who you would have loved as your best friend ❤️. I cannot wait to read more in this series when it becomes available! My ten year old daughter is now reading it... and she's just as enthralled as I was. It makes my heart sing when you find a book both you and your child love... especially when you have a good natter about afterwards!

Beautifully crafted and packed with action, magic and fantasy. I was drawn into the world of Albion from the start and it was instant love for Paisley. And Dax! The suspense is compelling and I can’t wait for the second in this epic series of three. It’s already a Classic!

An amazing book! I deffinetly recomend reading this. It's sad because nobody on booktok talks about this book since only very few people have actually read this and it is VERY undereated. I'm not sure if the 3rd book is released yet, because I can't find it anywhere but if it is then I will search every library. Can't wait to read it!🫶🏻
