Sir Charlie Stinky Socks and the Really Big Adventure

Publisher: Egmont

Review

A young knight sets off with his cat, horse and a wily witch to investigate a tower in the middle of a forest, surrounded by thorny bushes. On his way he outwits terrible beasties, wiggly woos and a thirsty dragon.

Finally, he enters the tower and finds a weeping Princess, worried that no one will dare come to her birthday party. However, Sir Stinky Socks and all the forest creatures stay to enjoy the party and give the Princess a good time.

A fun adventure, with big, bright, lively pictures and fold out pages. The text contains rhymes, alliteration and interesting words displayed in a variety of fonts and print sizes. A useful addition to the infant classroom collection.
