Peekaboo House

Publisher: Nosy Crow

This is a terrific first book to share with someone who loves to play peekaboo, complete with ten sliders to pull and a surprise mirror at the end.

As with all books illustrated by Swedish star Ingela P Arrhenius, Peekaboo House is a real treat for the eyes, with bright, bold, 1950s-retro drawings that are reminiscent of the popular Hey Bear! sensory videos for babies on YouTube.

The interactive board book is also good for young ones as it includes lots of familiar items you can find around the home: from the bread that pops out of the toaster to the clothes whirling about the washing machine. Let's hope you don't find a mouse peeking out from behind your block of cheese, though!

By the final page, you and your baby or toddler will be pulling giggly faces into the mirror and wanting to read it again.
