Once Upon a Bathtime

Publisher: Tradewind Books

A little girl takes a bath with a fairytale twist as she is joined by a number of fairytale characters as well as her favourite toys. The story shows how bath time can be magical and imaginative and most of all fun.

Children can enjoy trying to spot references to the Frog Prince, Jack and the Beanstalk, the Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and many more.

The script font used does makes a lot of words hard to read; however it is a fantastic story to be read aloud to a child. The illustrations are softly coloured paper collages in a 'cut and paste' style and are charming and clear.
