Mummy, Noah and Evie-May are going Christmas shopping. There's lots to get, including the star for the top of the tree. Luckily, Noah has his favourite toy Oliver Elephant with him, which is definitely going to help them find everything they need.

But after Mummy, Noah and Evie-May stop for a snack in the café, they realise that Noah has lost Oliver Elephant. Retracing their steps through the sparkling department store, Noah looks inside vases and under shampoo to no avail, until Evie-May finds something in her pushchair...

Reminiscent of Shirley Hughes and Judith Kerr's heart-warming stories of the everyday life of little ones, this lovely story set in the run-up to Christmas is just as much about the comfort of family as the excitement of the festive season. Helen Stephens' illustrations are very beautiful and this lovely book is a perfect bedtime story, especially at Christmas.
