My First Signs
Publisher: Child's Play
Lots of fantastic baby pictures illustrate this introduction to sign language, which teaches babies to build on their natural ability to gesture so that you can communicate with them. The book is really simple to use, and great fun!

Dotty and I have been going to sign language classes, we first found these books in our consultants waiting room. They are great, and Dotty loved the pictures. We now have a full set.

My little girl loves looking at this book as it is large and she enjoys the pictures. I copy the signs as we look at the book together and she watches with interest. She is yet to copy but she is only 3 months old

Great book to jog my memory about signs whilst pointing at the pictures with K.

We like the pictures of people doing things. Mummy uses the signs but Dai is not so interested!

A lovely book to dip in and out of to learn a few signs at a time. My daughter is too young to learn from the page, but the illustrations have really helped me with my signing!

Very clear list of signs first useful to baby. More suited to parent rather than child

I used this a lot when my first daughter was learning baby signing. We have revisited it recently (she is 2 and half) and loves doing the signs.

This book is good to learn signs- its hard to convey moevment in one picture, but it tries. Unfortunately, Eilam does not like this book much.

Charming and clear illustrations of the majority of the first words one would wish to share with a baby, from the practical (eat, sleep, etc.) to the equally important "I love you"!

Bought for my son not used it yet with him as I think he is still a bit young but pictures are colourful it's a big book so it's very clear to show a group of children even and they can all see because pictures are nice and big. Good idea! Just not ready to do with my son yet using the book but I did learn a few signs myself and do them with him
