Middle School: Save Rafe!

(3 reviews with an average rating of 5 out of 5)

Publisher: Young Arrow

The sixth in James Patterson's Middle School series, Save Rafe is another funny and adventurous chapter in troublemaker Rafe's life. This time he's being sent back to the middle school he was kicked out of - but only if he makes it through a one week training programme which is tougher than anything he's done before.

The book deals with annoying sisters, crushes on girls, living up to your parents' expectations, doing your homework and being responsible, in a funny and engaging way - including some great illustration to add some extra fun into the text. Rafe is a cartoonist and his drawings are seamlessly included in the text so the reader really feels like they're getting to know him. A particularly fun read for reluctant readers.
