Guto a Dreigiau'r Nos / The Boy Who Dreamed Dragons

Publisher: Lolfa

Dyma lyfr sydd yn arwain plant trwy’r broses o wneud ffrindiau newydd gan ddefnyddio hud a lledrith i hwyluso’r ffordd. Yn y stori hon mae’r awdur yn defnyddio cyfeillgarwch y prif gymeriad gyda dreigiau i helpu’r darllenydd i ddeall bod dim angen newid pwy wyt ti er mwyn gwneud ffrindiau newydd. Mae Guto’n sylweddoli yn gyflym, nad pawb sydd yn gallu gweld ei ffrindiau arbennig, sef y dreigiau, ond mae’n gwrthod gwadu bodolaeth ei ffrindiau hudol er mwyn bod yr un peth a phawb arall. Caiff ei ddewrder ei wobrwyo wrth iddo ddod o hyd i ffrind go iawn sydd wrth ei bodd yn chwarae gyda fe a’i ddreigiau. Llyfr hudol ar fwy nag un lefel.

This book guides children through the process of making new friends using magic to help along the way. In this story, the author uses the friendship of the main character with dragons to help the reader to understand that there’s no need to change who you are to make new friends. Guto soon realises that not everybody can see his special friends, the dragons, but he refuses to deny the existence of his magic friends just to be the same as everybody else. His bravery is rewarded as he finds a real friend who loves playing with him and the dragons. A charming book on more than one level.
