Publisher: LOM Art, an imprint of Michael O’Mara Books

This simple and effective board book is great fun for little fingers to explore. Each page shows a different touchy-feely track for hands to follow around the page. Follow muddy tracks to catch up to the tractor, bubbles from a whale to the surface of the sea and a winding snake through the leaves.

The clean white pages and bright colours make each spread a feast for the eyes as well as the hands, and the variations on the scenes keep things interesting for little ones.

The sleeping cat and dog pages encourage further interactions with the book: ‘tickle the cat under the chin’ and ‘pat the dog on the head’.

The final page showcases the noises in the book, so there’s lots of fun to be had for such a small book. It’s a neat idea in a smart package that is perfect for sharing with even the very youngest readers.
