I'm not a big fan of this book. The beginning is quite slow and there are a lot of descriptions that are not needed, and I like to focus on story. I think this book is more for kids aged 9 and under, since it contains pictures and the book itself is about farts.

It was a good book. It was funny, exciting and a really good page turner. If I had the other three books I would read them and if there was a film I would probably watch that too. My favourite character was Nilly. He is funny and quite a little dare devil going through the sewers on his own to escape from the prison. Introduction Doctor Prockters Fart Powder, the most amazing and hilarious book (and I haven't even read it all) and I already love it. Synopsis This is about an inventor that makes an invention to help him become rich (because he is poor). But the twins Truls and Trym try to steel it. I liked it a bit but I DIDNT understand it and I wouldn't like to recommend to anyone. the main character is the scientist that is trying to make a fart powder and sell it but it didn't work out and he ended up selling it the way it was.

I disliked the book because when I read the first few pages it was quite boring, to me it was not really as intriguing as I thought it would be. The main character is the person who tries to make the fart powder, but the main event is about a boy who eats the powder and suddenly farts a lot. Overall (in my opinion) I did not like the book, I wouldn't say its bad, but I wouldn't say its good.

This is a thrilling book that has comedy/ adventure. the book is fun to read, some parts has boring pages some are not important. I would recommend it to people who are bored as there are really interesting parts.

In year 7 we experienced the sensational Book Buzz. I chose this book out of the variety of books because its bright cover. The blurb sounds 'Hilariously Funny, Totally Crazy,' by having the word 'FART' in the title. Also the drawing of a boy holding the 'FART POWDER' farting. It's also 'Wickedly Entertaining.'

I think that Doctor Proctors Fart Powder is amazing to read. The best part of the book is the ending and i would recommend this to boys and girls. This book is very funny and hilarious,I think even grown ups would love this book!

The book had chosen was Doctor Proctors Fart Powder, I choose this book because I thought it looked a bit like a Roald Dhal book. The book is about two children, Nilly and Lisa, that met when Nilly moved house next to Lisa. The two children meet a crazy Doctor that develops an amazing invention that could blast people up into space, however someone wanted this invention to make some money. I recommend this book to readers aged 8-12.

The book was a good read once getting into it although the book was extremely boring at the start. There was a lot of old jokes that I and many more may not of understood. Jo Nesbo was taking ideas from the great authors Roald Dahl and David Walliams. Including the comedy from both and the idea of the bullies from one of David Walliams' latest books. The title got you into the book and made you want to read but the start let you down. Unfortunately not the greatest book I've ever read.

This is a really funny and lively book that always makes me smile when I read it. I especially like Nilly's character as he is witty and humorous. Jo Nesbo has done a really good job in setting the scene in Norway. She takes a real place and fictionalizes it.

Admittedly I was excited for this book because it had a creative title and cover. But at the start of the book and the whole way though I was bored out of my skin. The majority was ok and could read through it but I have learnt never trust a book by its cover.

I loved this book for its humour and wonderful, warm characters. Who hasn't imagined inventing a powerful powder that could blast you into space? You'll laugh out loud. Just watch out for those nasty twins and an anaconda living in the sewers!
